Cloudmark

Here’s a pair of things that I ran across and seem kind of odd in their juxtaposition. #1 is this job posting from Perl Jobs for a position with Cloudmark. It has a bunch of requirements, for a position in downtown San Francisco for which they are only willing to pay $60K a year. #2 is this press release about new venture money they raised and how good they are doing in the market. I wonder why that doesn’t correspond to better wages? I know $60K isn’t chicken feed, but for that job with those requirements in that place, I’d expect more.
