Here’s an amazing thing, a plate from the 16th century showing a man whose head is made of penises. It has the inscription “Ogni homo me guarda come fosse una testa de cazi” (”Every man looks at me as if I were a dickhead”). Who knew that the term “dickhead” was already in parlance in the Renaissance?
