Balanced TV

Apparently when I wasn’t looking, it became a necessity for TV movies to be politically balanced. Hmmm. I could swear that I’ve seen umpteen hatchet jobs and/or just plain, poorly made biopics. However, when the subject is the sainted Ronald Reagan, then balance is required. What a pantsload. Here’s a column that I find sensible. So if it is necessity for these things to be balanced, what are the chances that the Jessica Lynch movie will be balanced, rather than a big sloppy wet kiss to the chickenhawks? Unlike the loudmouth cheap labor conservatives, I’m not going to assume it is until I see it (but the smart money bets that way.)
