Tribe as MLM?

I’ve been slowly trying to get my circle of friends involved in Tribe.net. It would be so convenient for me if they were all on there. I have been trying to invite at least one person a week, trying to expand the circle and hoping that they get into it and start inviting our mutual friends so I don’t have to do all the work. This morning a pending invite from a few weeks ago was accepted by a friend who described Tribe as seeming “kind of like Amway meets NNTP.” You know, I think that’s an awfully apt comparison.
