Dispelling Subversion FUD

Ben Collins-Sussman, one of the developers on the Subversion project has written up an essay dispelling some of the major bits of the FUD being spread about Subversion. I agree with all of the points he raises. Subversion is not “yet another CVS”, it is something that takes the core notions of CVS and implements them in a way that makes them more useful. Versioned directories and atomic commits alone make this worth pursuing.
