Sine Fiction’s Soundtracks to SF Novels

I blogged about the soundtrack to Zelazny and Dick’s Deus Irae a while back. I had occasion to look back at some more Sine Fiction albums and was impressed. They have their full slate of ones they have released on the Internet Archive. I listened to the one for Shockwave Rider and really liked it. I’ve never read the novel although I’ve been meaning to for a decade or more, and this music I’m sure will fit it well. It’s ambient electronic with subtle modem and telephone DTMF sounds in it. It would be right at home on WREK.

Looking in their upcoming planned releases I see they have several books I really like in the works, Neuromancer and Ballard’s The Drowned World. I need to keep on eye on these guys, they are doing good work.
