Bruce Baugh takes on my all-time favorite supehero team - The Legion of Superheroes. I think they were my favorite because not only were they comic book superheroes, but they were also unabashedly science fictional. Bruce gives a rundown of their complicated history and does a review of the Legion Lost series. I love the series, but they hit a point where it was such a huge job to follow the series across multiple intracately interlocking titles that I dropped the whole mess exhaustedly. I still have great affection for the team, and agree with Bruce that some of those stories from the 80’s were not only classics of comic books but of all science fiction.
