All Linux Recording Studio

One of my coworkers passed along a link to an article about setting up a pro or semi-pro digital recording studio using only Linux based programs. Interesting reading. I’m thinking back to the $200 I paid for the MacOS version of SoundEdit16 in 1997. For several years of my radio show, I edited it for satellite broadcast on that Performa 6400 - a computer that is less powerful than your average handheld nowadays. Being able to do the same thing with all freely available tools is truly awesome.
