      Hey Dave, cracked up when I heard your show tonight. Sorry to hear we are a “fault line” in your Shuffle! Just get a REAL iPod and you wont have to worry! Doc Searls was right! Shuffles suck for podcasting! Hey we’re big fans of your shows and your early pioneering effots in the medium, keep it up dude!

      Hey guys,

      It really isn’t a problem and isn’t a big deal. This would work with any big lump of any newly subscribed cast. It might be hard to believe, but for this particular application (listening to my new podcasts I have downloaded) it seems preferable to me over a full iPod. Since the content is essentially disposable, I don’t need to have 20 G of it. As it is, the smallest shuffle usually has around 16-20 hours of podcasts. I’m willing to trade capacity for tiny form factor and easy ubiquity.

      I really am enjoying the shows. I don’t know how I’ve missed you up to this point. I’m looking forward to getting to the Doc Searls interview.

      It was very weird in my car. There was a lot of bass and I could feel the reverb on the steering wheel and on the side panels. - Steve
