Abandoned Military Pets

My buddy Coop pointed out this story to me about animal shelters near military bases filling up. Specifically, the one in the article is near Fort Stewart in Hinesville GA. Sadly, it appears that military deployments are causing folks to either take their pets to the shelter or just abandon them. If any of y’all are near Hinesville (roughly in the Savannah portion of the state) and are willing to adopt a pet, this would be a good time to do that. The shelter itself has a website at which you can search the pets that need homes.
