Slow Life

Maybe this appeals to me because I am so gut-crushingly busy that I feel like leaning over and puking at most times lately, but my friend Coop sent me this link to an article on the Slow Life movement in Japan. Interesting stuff, with some hooks into the concerns of an Uplifter.

I wish slow life would catch on here. I was really sad when we backed out of the Kyoto treaty.

What a great article. Lots of it reminded me of latter-day Thoreau, who still doesn’t miss things by much after nearly 150 or so years.

Writin’ about it is one thing, livin’ it is another.

      Let’s live it.
