Ha, I knew that time entering my bills wasn’t wasted! Here’s a fascinating project that is using Wheres George data about the distances and speed of bill travel to model how epidemics would spread.

      I wish I had known about this site in the summer! I have been living with my parents since 2001, because of dot-bomb-enforced unemployment. I have only been back to the mainland USA four times, for conferences, and one job interview I decided not to pursue further.

      It might have been fun to see where my “Puerto Rican pesos” ended up after my trips to San Francisco, Portland, OR, and Philadelphia. :-)
