Dave, thanks for the write up, I enjoyed it very much.

I find the sci-fi and fantasy cons fascinating, but I haven’t been to one in ages, more than 12 years. Anything else you can write up or recordings you can put up will be greatly appreciated.

I should’ve gone back and read which panels you did when. Sorry bout that. Either way, nice to hear about it.
I thought the idea of hooking up people who wanted to blog but didn’t know how to with people who would show them was a great idea. Its nice that you didn’t just leave them without information, you made sure someone was happy to give them a tutorial.
I assume somewhere in those two bags you managed to squeeze in a change of clothes!

Dom, this was actually the second to last panel. I’m not doing them in chronological order per se. I wrote most of that on the plane home because it wasn the one I was thinking about.

When I get home I’ll inventory my bag as I unpack, how about that? I had two bags, my backpack with my laptop and books and such and then one duffel bag devoted almost exclusively to audio equipment It makes for a long day with sore shoulders, that’s for sure since I carried both around most of the con.

Glad to hear it all went well on that first panel. Look forward to hearing the interviews and the taped panels.

Just been looking over some old posts. What does your usual travel bag include? I saw you used a portable device but wondered what you use? Whats your main travel machine, what can’t you live without on trips?
