We just got back from Las Vegas and we were using the tram to get around. Being it was cold...I had mittens on and kept forgetting which pocket the pass was in. That's a great idea. They have a similar system in London in the UK, the Oyster card, that you wave over a special pad that then charges you for the journeys you take.
