Personally, I don't think I'll upgrade. My powerbook came with 10.3 and I bought Tiger and upgaded. I think it was worth it. I use it daily, usually to check my gmail and how much bandwidth I'm using. But my powerbook is being funny recently. The bottom inch of the screen flickers on and off, and the image gets stuck sometimes. A swift knock to the screen will kick it back into action but I'm sure it'll give up the ghost soon. So I think I'll wait until I get a new Macbook and see what I get. But it seems good. I'm not sure I'd use the virtual desktops, but time machine would be useful (if I actually got a server to backup to). Also curious as to what else they're hiding. They've gotta pull out some good stuff to make Vista look bad (not difficult in all honesty). I'll keep my fingers crossed Dave. An early release would be nice.
