Hitting the Podcasting Ditch

I had a plan to record a show last night, had a window of opportunity, sat down to do it and was 10 minutes into it when I realized all the files I was going to use were not what I thought they were. The interview clips I thought were levelated and ready to go had actually been recorded in that Marantz mode where one channel is at a lower level then the other - essentially two mono tracks at different levels so that if the main channel clips you have the other as a fall back. That’s good and all, but not what I want to be broadcasting. So, show went down in flames as I have to regroup. Oh well.

Why not delete one channel and re-save it as mono? I can help you with that.
