Lately I'm big in the modern westerns and this might be the best of them. There is a lot of <strong>Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia</strong> in it. The only thing I didn't like, which was similar to the problems of <strong>21 Grams</strong> (same screenwriter) is that the time jumping of the narrative flow seemed arbitrary and didn't add anything. Telling the same story linearly would have worked just as well or better, because the real meat is in the human and interpersonal stories, not in any storytelling trickery.
