Siderunners Final Show

The Siderunners will be having their final show tonight at the Beat Kitchen in Chicago. If you can make it, this would be the one to see. Show starts at 9 PM CDT, 2100 W. Belmont, Chicago, IL – (773) 281 – 4444   It sucks that this is the last one, and it makes my screwup that kept me from seeing them in Wilmington NC last fall that much dumber. At least I got to see them in Chicago once.

      I’m majorly bummed. I saw this on the ‘Runners website last weekend, and spent the time since then trying to convince myself that it was their last show at that venue.

      Dave, since you and i went to that show i saw them several more times. A few months ago Susan and i saw them at Abbey Pub. Gotta say, they sounded better at the Hideout. I was taking Caroline to Disneyland in california and missed the show on the 19th — and your blog notice.

      Hey Troy! The Hideout, that’s the name of the place I couldn’t remember. There was something charming about the low tech, no power gig just standing in the bar playing. Hope y’all enjoyed Disneyland and all is well.

      Thank you for all the kind words and support. Between me and you… We still have another record that’s being mixed later this summer and maybe a date or two around the midwest and the east coast in the fall. Until then I’m 33 miles out to sea making beer and whiskey at Cisco Brewery/888 Distillery on Nantucket Island. Get a hold of me thru my email and I can forward you some tracks of unreleased shit, live, studio etc…
      We’re also putting up our whole last show (audio) up on the web to download for free.
