You are so not sorry for being hardass! We wouldn’t have it any other way either. It is your hardassness, wit, and kind heart that make us light up with big smile every time we get rss notice that new clam bake is up.

Mike, that’s actually the fertile imagination of Michael Butler than came up with that one. I just always use the circle jerk link rather than the actual one because I find it funny and I’d like it if the circle jerk domain rose high in google hits.

Derek, I hit the burnout point on being pimped for Alley votes at least two years ago. I got so sick of hearing it at the end of every single show I listened to that I never ever voted for anyone again or even go to the site.

CCC! It just is all so tedious. If you want to be competitive you have to keep hitting it over and over, which makes for lousy listening. That’s what I think the important part is to not want to be competitive.

I agree with you 100% my friend. I HATE whoring for votes. At most when I got nominated last year I mentioned it once on a podcast and that was it.

I’m not a big fan of awards of any sort. I’m hating the pimps already for nominations and I know it’s going to get worse once it turns to “vote for me”

I totally agree with you, Dave. As soon as I heard the first plea for votes, I clinched tight because I knew that the floodgates would open up.

I pulled an Ibbott and did a hard press for votes on Podcast Alley one final time before I never mentioned that site again. I tell people all the time (when I remember), if you like the show, send me an email saying “I like the show.”
