Derek, you are the first person in the history of the program to express dismay that it is too short.

Ed, I'll stick in at least one song the next time I do even a hurry up show.

Spawn, they aren't using up a resource per se. This is after all post-scarcity stuff. What some are using up is the good-will of the community and basically drafting off the energy of others to try to flip a property for a quick buck. I appreciate the roundabout plug (I think, hard to tell in the snark) but that really gets me is that a lot of gold-rushers make themselves visible and to many are the face of the medium even though they really aren't as invested as the people who may be smaller players but put much more into it.

Yeah, it's great that the "gold rushers and get-rich-quickers get the hell out of our medium". After all, they are using up valuable space, and driving out good content, right?

If only there was some atomic-powered website that could, say, look at my list my favorite podcasts, and recommend other podcasts that I'll like, thereby making the "gold rushers and get-rich-quickers" invisible...

I liked the show. I was disappointed that there was NO music (sorry Gentle Readers). I always enjoy the music you bring to the show and missed it this time.

When I first saw how short the show was, I was a little disappointed. However, after listening to the show, I was very impressed with it. I have thought the same thing about major corporations in podcasting and I loved your line about advertising looking down on podcasters.

I look forward to the next show.
