There are very few pure-bred dingos around these days.  This one doesn&#039;t appear to have a white tail tip, or white feet &quot;bootees&quot; that would be indicative of a &quot;pure&quot; animal.

Dingo colour and hair length will vary depending on location and climate.</description>

Having lived in Australia and seeing a few dingos myself Koga is very very dingo like. The photo below him is a really different version of what I remember seeing. I lived in Alice Springs which is the dead center of the country. Kogas short hair and coloring are closer to my recollection of them. I would be interested to know the geography/location of  where Gordon took the photo.</description>
