There are a couple of podcasts out there where the podcaster seems to mispronounce the name.

The Rider's Trike podcast is one of them, as is The Madger's Tools podcast.

I've yet to come across a Bidness podcast, or "We Axe The Questions," but it's only a matter of time...

Wow! Thanks so much for such a frank review of my efforts with the Writers' Strike Chronicles podcast.

I want to clarify that I have no desire to become a television or screenwriter nor have I ever taken a screen writing workshop. I have, however, taken a poetry writing class and it was very rewarding.

I started the podcast simply because I knew that the conglomerates, of which the writers were striking against, also own the news networks. I was concerned for about a compromise in actual reporting regarding the strike in era of the tabloidizatoin of the news is rampant...when Paris Hilton's prison time or Anna Nicole Smith's death qualifies for days of endless coverage and thereby obfuscating real news stories. I don't appreciate that the strike here in Los Angeles is hardly covered if at all by the local news stations. My goal is to get the story out from the bottom up instead of the conglomerates spinning their story from the top down.

My personal goals in producing this daily podcast has evolved since I first began. Today I clearly wish to create a sustainable livelihood and "abundant" lifestyle (forgive me, my new age roots are showing) in new media and podcasting.

I don't know much about you or your blog. It just surfaced as a Technorati authority. But I will poke around here and have a look see. Let's stay in touch!

Thanks again for your review and feel free to contact me any time.

I second the vote fo Two Plus Two. Good stuff. I would say that becoming the house cast for them improved the pdcast because of the access they now get to some of the really good poker pro/authors and I get the feeling that their budget increased exponentially. I agree that the best way to monetize a podcast directly is to become someone's podcast puppy. Be so cute (metaphorically) they want to keep you and if you pull them some chicks (metaphor again) then you get to stay.
