Here is the direct MP3 download for the EGC clambake for April 6, 2009. I play a song from Glass Eye; I talk about CREATE South and Balticon and Dragon*Con, about organizing a conference and what we are trying to do with CREATE South in Myrtle Beach; I play a solo song by Kathy McCarty, talk about my Kindle and my social media timeout; I close out with another Glass Eye song.

Did you realise the EGC was no longer in the iTunes Podcast directory?
-
They sent me something a while back about removing me for some arbitrary unknown reason but I thought I was back in because I see iTunes downloading the show. I am shockingly ignorant of the iTunes directory and how it works. Is it only in iTunes, or is there a web page component?
-
PS - I hate iTunes and their directory, BTW, and how they have become the monolith in the center of the podcast world. Screw that.
-
OK, I resubmitted it.
-
I got the re-addition notice. Thanks, Dom. I had completely forgotten all about it. The iTunes store and podcast directory have absolutely no intersection with my life.
-
Doing the live streaming while I record the show definitely changes the rhythm. I'm not sure if that is a negative or not. I'll leave that to people hearing the recording later to let me know.
-
I can only guess its due to the issue I noticed a while back, where the iTunes listing wasn't updating with new podcasts, I thought that they may have removed it due to apparent inactivity. Once subscribed, it seems to download via the rss feed. However downloading to iPhones and iPod Touches relies entirely on the iTunes directory to get new shows.

Seems to be live now btw. Missed the live show. Being on GMT sucks sometimes
